Preparing for Ramadan at Majdolin: What Guests Can Expect This Holy Month

This Ramadan, Majdolin Restaurant positions itself exactly as it has always aspired to be: prepared, respectful of tradition, and consistent in quality. Inspired by the spirit of مائدة الكرم, the team has carefully curated an experience that honors the essence of Ramadan while offering something new each week, ensuring that every visit feels familiar yet exciting.

Majdolin’s Approach to Ramadan Dining

Ramadan dining at Majdolin is built around three principles: variety, storytelling, and shared moments.

The Ramadan Iftar Buffet has been thoughtfully designed to evolve throughout the week. Rather than offering a static menu, Majdolin introduces a rotating system that encourages guests to return and explore new flavors while maintaining the warmth and generosity expected during the holy month.

The rotation works as follows:

The layout encourages natural flow:

  1. Starters and soups
  2. Cold mezze and salads
  3. Live stations and signature mains
  4. Dessert stations featuring traditional Ramadan sweets

Four Weeks, Four Signature Dishes, One Table of Hospitality

The heart of Majdolin’s Ramadan theme is beautifully simple:

Four weeks. Four cuisines. One shared table.

Each week features a signature dish representing a different country from the Arab and Islamic world, celebrating culinary heritage while bringing guests together through food.

Week 1: Türkiye – Hünkar Beğendi

From 18 to 24 February, Majdolin presents Hünkar Beğendi, meaning “The Sultan Approved.”

Week 2: Palestine & Jordan – Chicken Maqluba

From 25 February to 3 March, the spotlight shifts to the Levant with Chicken Maqluba.

Week 3: Saudi Arabia – Chicken Kabsa

From 4 to 10 March, Majdolin features Chicken Kabsa, Saudi Arabia’s most iconic rice dish.

Week 4: Lebanon – Dawood Basha

From 11 to 17 March, the journey concludes with Dawood Basha, a beloved Lebanese classic.

The Collection Cards - A Playful Ramadan Experience

Throughout the month, guests can participate in The Collection Cards mini competition.

There are four collectible cards, one for each featured country. Guests who complete all four cards become eligible to enjoy an exclusive reward of four complimentary visits to the DoubleTree pool, gym, or spa, redeemable after Ramadan within the specified validity period.

Full details and terms & conditions are available in our dedicated article explaining the offer.

This initiative adds a light, engaging element to the season, especially for families visiting multiple times.

Suhoor at Majdolin

Ramadan at Majdolin does not end with Iftar.

Guests can also enjoy a Suhoor platter for two priced at AED 79, available daily from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

The Suhoor tray offers a balanced selection suitable for a lighter, late-evening meal, perfect for couples, friends, or small family gatherings looking for a relaxed end to the night.
